According to DOD: Science Applications International Corp.,McLean, Va., was awarded on April 15 a $14,492,051 firm-fixed-price, level-of-effort contract. The award will provide for themodification of an existing contract, to sustainment services forMine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicles, to add 204,581 hours tothe order in the amount of approximately $13,800,000. Work will becompleted in McLean, Va., with an estimated completion date of July29, 2011. The bid was solicited through the Internet with one bidreceived. The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Warren, Mich., is thecontracting activity (W56HZV-09-A-0003).
