Fed: Beazley says Google okay by him

KIM BEAZLEY says the internet .. and its most popular search engine Google .. should
be one of the educational tools available to school children.

The opposition leader's told ABC radio the internet is a powerful tool for education
.. which contains a lot of useful information.

His comments come after WA Education Minister LJILJANNA RAVLICH said it's not important
for students to memorise dates and places in history .. because they can find the information
online.
